Last year’s Main Event saw London cabbie Alan Mansbridge take the Walsall title after the most dramatic reversal of fortune ever seen on the Tour. Having finished the first day in last place – not bothering to book a hotel for the following night – he went on to become the last man standing, winning £50,000 in the process.

This year they are doing it again. In 2010 any player who qualifies for the WSOP Main Event or WSOP Side Event #54 with Everest Poker will be eligible to receive their cut of $1,000,000. Everest Poker will match the total amount the players take home from the Main Event or Side Event #54 up to $1 million with their own cash.
