PokerTime Review
I was first introduced to
PokerTime a while ago, but until recently I just thought it was like most other sites and didn’t offer anything of interest over other sites that I was playing on. However this couldn’t be further from the truth.
PokerTime as a poker client software runs on the Microgaming Network, which a number of other sites also use as their platform of choice. Microgaming is very much my preferred network to play on. My reason for this is that I like the play and feel of the poker client and also that you can see what hand you actually have on the table. So no longer can you misread having a straight etc, as there is a box that tells you exactly what you have.
What makes
PokerTime.com a unique place to play poker though is the way it links with MyPokerLab software. MyPokerLab is software that sits alongside the PokerTime client and helps you not only analyse the hands that you are playing, but it also helps you lean more about the game of poker.
The level of help and advice from the site is unrivaled by any other that I have ever seen. Most poker sites will have a small section on how to play poker.
MyPokerLab however goes far beyond this and then some. Items covered in the tutorial area include: betting options, positional play, odds, bankroll management and even covering off how using additional software like hold’em manager can help further.
On top of all the tutorial information, the software also tracks how you are playing. Which will then produce a report to show you areas of improvement and also make certain recommendations on how to make you a more profitable player. Covering Key statistics like VPIP, PFR%, AGG Factor. Other and more advanced areas of the report include how you are post flop, how often you steal the blinds, if you are 3 betting too often and are you winning or losing when it comes to showdown.
You would normally only get this kind of analysis and tuition from a professional player or coach and that would cost you a lot more money. If you are looking for value from a poker site and a site that will help you improve your game, then you should look no further and get playing on here today.
